SCULPTURE

Working in a three-dimensional art medium allows for a more intimate connection with my artwork. The ability to connect on a physical level where my hands and eyes work together to translate my mind's creations is one of the most refreshing feelings. This section will display my works in ceramics, plaster, wood and foam core sculptures.

EXPERIENCE THE ART OF PLASTER

This sculpture was created using the reduction carving technique where a tool was used to chip away at the original block of plaster. The result is an interesting form, inviting you to view at 360 degrees.

EXPERIENCE THE ART OF FOAMCORE

Created using foamcore board, this three-dimensional form is stacked in layers that create shadows and sharp edges, similar to that of a pyramid.

This pot was created using the pinch technique and decorated with mishma designs using white engobe. These designs are similar to those found in African tribal tattoos.
